Battery plugged in not charging Spin 5 SP513-51

Hi,
I plugged the laptop to charge and it showed that it was charging, when it said 100% completed I unplugged it and shut it down. The next morning I tried to turn it on and I couldn't. I plugged the charger and when I turned it on, it said on the screen "your battery life is very low" and it shut off. I turned it on again and I could work with the charger. However, I can see the battery icon and it says "0% not charging." Now, sometimes, when I am working on the computer (always with the charger) it shuts down all of a sudden.
I had tried to reset the battery on the little hole at the bottom of the laptop, and it did not work.
I had also tried to update de drivers, specially the chipset and it did not work.
Any suggestions of what I should do?
Thank you

power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the unit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart

Here is the answer .Near the battery connector on the motherboard is a button that must be pressed for the battery to charge. It is pressed when the screws of the bottom case are screwed in . If the middle case screws are not screwed in the button doesnt get pressed and the battery does not charge. Very weird design by acer . So people that take the bottom cover off to put in a new ssd or battery must  screw the middle screws in for the button to be pressed.

Some have had success with that by putting a couple of layer of electrical tape over the plastic that presses on that button.

Thanks it solved my spin 5 issue of not running on battery, it was run only when power adaptor plugged in and won’t even charge the battery, I had tried that button but I was thinking of kind of reset button. After trying your suggestion completely work fine
    thanks

Could anyone do me a huge favor by pointing to the button on the motherboard?

#12 is the battery reset switch on a SP513-51:

There isn't a case intrusion switch on that model.
