so I wanted to enter the bios to see if I can overclock the cpu from 2.40 ghz on two cores to the i5-4210U cpu up to 2.70 ghz on the two cores but I can't find advanced settings in the bios, I tried almost everything that could be keyed and to change my bios to UEFI but nothing worked.

The Aspire VN7-571G does NOT have an Advanced section to its bios and there is NO additional advanced section that you can unlock, its only got Information, Main, Security, Boot and Exit and don't overcklock the cpu as you can cause damage, leave your cpu to its default and turbo settings that it was designed for, as you wil cause damage by overclocking and you won't get any advantages doing so.

Your model laptop is 8 years old and BIOS does not support UEFI, only legacy. Overclocking is not possible. i5-4210U is a low-power, low-voltage choice for long battery life ultra books and laptops, overclocking would burn up this CPU.

I have UEFI instead of legacy BIOS and the maximum temperature recorded on my laptop with 60% fan was 73 degrees Celsius after many hours of gaming on many games

Acer VN7-571G has an advanced BIOS menu.

It can be unlocked by manually changing the EFI Setup variable. This is quite dangerous to reproduce, so try it at your own risk. On my BIOS version (1.14), it can be unlocked by placing the value 0x01 at offset 0x258 in the EFI Setup variable.

BUT YOU SHOULD NOT TRY TO OVERCLOCK YOUR CPU

If I understand correctly, you have BIOS version 1.16.
Theoretically, it should be compatible with the Setup values for version 1.14.

Personally, I followed the following steps to unlock the advanced menu:

    1. Installed Ventoy (https://www.ventoy.net/en/download.html) on a flash drive.
    2. Downloaded the EFI Shell (https://github.com/pbatard/UEFI-Shell/releases/) and placed it on the Ventoy partition
    3. Downloaded UVT (https://github.com/GeographicCone/UefiVarTool/releases/) and placed uvt.efi from the archive into the VTOYEFI partition
    4. Disabled Secure Boot
    5. Started the laptop with the flash drive connected (if the system starts instead of Ventoy, then in the Boot menu you need to change the USB position in the list to be at the top).
    6. Selected shellx64.efi in the Ventoy menu
    7. Run the command uvt Setup:0x258. If it is 0x1 and you don't have an extended BIOS menu, then stop as you have a different Setup format.
    8. Run the command uvt Setup:0x258=0x01.
    9. Checked to see if there is an extended menu in the BIOS.

Never change any settings in the unlocked BIOS menu unless you know exactly what they do!
