Laptop SP314-54N-54DB is clicking sounds when charger plugged in and won’t charge.
laptop is making clicking sounds coming from the charging port when the charger is plugged into it, even if the charger itself isn’t plugged in.
it also won’t charge, it’s dead and when I plug in the charger the charging light will light up, but it lights up blue not orange (the light only really goes blue when it’s fully charged) and it will not turn on at all.
it was fine then it died and this started when I plugged in the charger to charge it, any help?

What is your laptop model number, as saying "laptop" means nothing as we can't give you a precise answer or give you appropriate part number that you need to look at and change. This problem could be your charging port that is damaged and causing that clicking sound when connected to the charger. You need to change the charging port, as if you let it go any further it could damage your laptop even further and/or cause a fire, so be very careful as any power/battery issues are dangerous and are a fire hazards.

The SP314-54N-54DB is the Spin laptop that has the Stylus pen, this laptop is also got a stylus charging on the right side while the main charging port is on the left. Check the main charging laptop port and its wires that connects to the motherboard, but this is a specialist job, and you need to be computer savvy to do.

I don't see how the stylus charger would make a clicking sound, and it's not all that close to the power connector. The DC-In jack is soldered to the motherboard and the closest moving part to that is the fan, which is in the middle of the back of the laptop. Are you sure the noise doesn't come from the speaker?
