So I was moving the ram clips on my nitro 5 to upgrade my ram but they somehow bent and I can't get it back together, so I tried the other side and the same thing happened.

Acer model: AN15-56-79WD

See caption below, as that is how you take a ram module out. All laptop ram modules when you take them out, their clips need to be gently spread and the module will clip out, when installing the ram modules, you need to clip the ram module into its slot properly and then the ram sides automatically clip into these side clips, its a very simple job and uncomplicated. You must have forced or opened those clips too much outward and that is why they were bent and damaged.

If you are not willing to spend any money, then you need to get a pair of Long Nose Pliers and see if you can bend those side clips back to how they were and these clips will secure the ram modules(s), if not then you need to replace the ram modules clips that need to be soldered onto the mobo, which you won't be able to do as you need specialist soldering tools and a microscope to do a proper job, Warning: don't attempt to do this yourself as you will cause more damage to your laptop! Also, I've got the same laptop and I've upgraded the ram to 2x 16GB DDR3200MHz CL22 type ram and its baffling how you could damage those side ram clips like that, next time get a technician to do this job for you😀.
