Search 'wifi' in Windows start menu. Click change wifi settings. Turn wifi button on. Jack E/NJ

Open Device Manager. Do you see any red or yellow warning symbols? Jack E/NJ

So right click on the wifi adapter in DeviceManager. Click power management tab. Uncheck the box allowing the laptop to shut it off. Jack E/NJ

I am using my laptop with charging. So will it cause power management to turn off wifi?

Open Device Manager again. Click network adapters. Right click wifi adapter and uninstall it. Exit Device Manager without trying to re-install anything. Then open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in left pane. Click 'change settings that are currently unavailable.' Scroll down and uncheck the box for fast startup. Then shutdown Windows normally. Turn machine back on. Jack E/NJ

Did you uninstall the wifi device drivers or not? Open Device Manager after rebooting and  check again for red or yellow warnings. If none, then right click on the wifi driver again. Click properties. Click the power management tab. Make sure it's turned on. Also check wifi settings in the Windows start menu, make sure it can be turned on there too. Jack E/NJ
