Manually control charging level of battery (Acer Aspire V5-573G)

Dear users,

Over at another forum I posted the same message about my newly bought Acer Aspire V5-573G-74508G50aii . The battery is integrated and keeps charging up to 100 % when plugged in. When leaving your battery at 100% the whole time the battery capacity diminishes at a rate of about 25% every year! I want to keep my battery lasting longer than that.

My solution is to self define to which percentage the battery can be charged at maximum (in a utility). In practise I would choose to let it be most of the time at 50% max charged. Even if it just works under Windows (when running windows) I would be more than happy.

See my post over at another forum asking this question. http://forum.notebookreview.com/hardware-components-aftermarket-upgrades/729755-manually-control-charging-level-battery.html .  I would like it if you guys from Acer can give me a utility to do this or to even create one if it doesn't exist yet.

Thanks in advance,

I would appreciate it if Acer release e.g. a BIOS update and software update that makes this possible. Does anyone else have a solution?
