Hi!

I installed a ssd with support gen. 4 pci-ex. Adata Legend 960.

But the maximum read and write speed according to tests does not exceed 3500, although the disk supports approximately 7000.

Does the computer support 4th version pci-ex for SSD and how to enable it?

No the PT314-51 laptop does not support PCIe4x4, the PT314-51 supports M.2 PCIe3x4 and SATA 3 drives. This laptop is fitted with an M.2 SSD WD SN730 which is a PCIe3x4 type drive, that is why your PCIe4x4 only outputs the PCIe3x4 interface read/write speeds of max 3600MB/s.

The Triton SE 300 PT314-51s is a laptop model produced by Acer. Based on the available specifications for this model, it does not explicitly mention support for PCIe 4.0 SSDs.

To confirm whether the Triton SE 300 PT314-51s supports PCIe Gen 4 SSDs, it's recommended to refer to the official documentation provided by Acer, such as the product manual or the specifications listed on their website. These sources will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the supported hardware and features of the laptop.

If the official documentation does not specify support for PCIe Gen 4 SSDs, it is safe to assume that the laptop likely supports the previous generation, PCIe Gen 3 SSDs. However, it's always a good idea to double-check with the manufacturer or refer to the official specifications to get the most accurate information about a specific laptop model.
