I've been having issues on my Acer nitro 5 with headset issues. The headset appears to wprk but the mic on it does. I tried already contacting Razer (headset), and Microsoft about this issue. The only thign that I can think about that is the issue is on device manager on audio input and output all the headsets I plug in dont appear only RealTek audio, Sound Sound 7.1, and Sound Array. Might be a driver that is missing. Please respond if you can help!

Have you tried to use the audio jack (wired) with the Razer? Realtek driver is only for the onboard speakers, Windows for the audio jack (plug) and Mediatek (MTK) controls Bluetooth. Check if your Bluetooth is turned on in Windows settings. Check Sound settings in Windows for the wired (audio jack) microphone, as soon as you insert the 3.5mm headset plug in the audio jack of your laptop there will be a Windows popup on the screen asking what you are inserting: speakers or headphone. If you don't get that message there is a Windows system problem.

I tried everything that you described to me and bluetooth is turned off.

If you have audio working OK (onboard speakers and mike) and only the RCA audio jack fails with any other wired headset/ear buds, there is a hardware audio port issue (bad contact).

Anything else, you need to uninstall the audio drivers in Sound Video and Game controllers with Device Manager, reboot and let Windows install compatible drivers.
