PH317-52 Fans stopped working

I disassembled the laptop to change the thermal paste and clean it of dust.
But when I put it back, the fans stopped working.
The questions:
1- Does it have any issues if I blew compressed air into the Aeroblade fans when I opened it to clean?
2- If I lubricate them with oil that is used in hair clippers, could I repair them?
3- In the meantime, since then, I have ordered some plastic ones from aliexpress. If I take only the part with the metal wings from the original ones, and put them in the ones on aliexpress, would it be better or is it a bad idea.

Hi @ElBalax applying air to the fans at rest is not a good idea, you can damage their shaft or the internal coils. In any case, I think that they could have been damaged during cleaning or that some element related to their power supply was damaged.
The lubrication will not solve the problem because they do not work for some reason of electrical supply, for the same reason, I do not think that changing the blade will solve the problem if they continue not being able to rotate.

NO, Never lubricate laptop fans, that will most definitely finish them off and don't oil plastic hinge assemblies of Acer laptops either, keep lubricants and any form of liquids far away from laptops.

Very bad idea to take apart these high tech, miniature, precision laptop fans, I don't know where you heard that?

Use a small rubber PC blow ball and soft brush to clean airducts never apply compressed air or vacuum cleaners directly to the delicate impellers you probably ruined the fans.

Don't worry about high performance plastic impellers, bearings last much longer, vibration is far less, less noisy and much lighter than metal blades, it is called Technical Progress😉

I'm asking because in the comments, it is mentioned that those fans run at 4400 RPM instead of the original 6000 RPM.

It is not just the RPM, flowrate and displacement by these blades are as important. I rather have a quiet non vibrating fan that cools sufficiently and last a lot longer because of lower stress and RPM. consider large room ventilators, have you ever seen a modern one with metal blades? These fans go for $10-$20 a set, you all don't mind replacing batteries frequently but when it comes to fans it becomes a major issue: If a fan does not cool properly just replace it.
