Tbh I don't know what to do,Warranty has expired(bought the laptop february 2021). And it appeared out of nowhere yesterday while I was browsing reddit, how come signs of defects appear out of nowhere the moment warranty has expired which is pretty annoying. Changing the display rate(from 144hz to 60hz) doesn't remove the lines unlike the others,I pretty much don't know what to do and I'm very sure this is expensive to fix aswell without that warranty and those black lines might spread more and more when I keep using my laptop.

Hey Sebbbastian😂this is what my task manager looks like, don't worry about it as there is nothing wrong with the screen. Try and connect to an external monitor if the lines are missing from there it' might be the controller board for the LCD, so replace LCD board, if its bothering you😁?

If you want to replace the LCD panel then these are the LCD/LED panels for your Nitro 5 AN515-44 model, see which one you have as this model had refresher rate monitors of 60/120 and 144Hz type monitors, have a look at LS Screens for this laptops screens, as they have all the screens needed for your laptop.

Look at this list from your Nitro SG for all the Vendor P/Ns, then look at these screens up on the LS Screen site as that will refer you to the correct refresher rate screens suitable for your AN515-44 laptop, you may be able to upgrade to the 144Hz refresher rate screen if you only have the 60Hz or 120Hz refresher rate screen.
