The best way is to measure the oem pads in whatever condition the front/rear pads are on your RTX3080 GPU that your PO7-640 has, different manufacturers use different pad thicknesses so and if you have a generic GPU RTX, its going to be hard, as Acer does not quote a pad thickness for a GPU. As a guide, have a look at this site as it goes to great length to give different manufacturers GPU thermal pads thicknesses for the RTX3080 and RTX 3090. Have a here "Thermal pad thickness for RTX 3080 and 3090 GPUs"

Btw this is what NVidia fits to their RTX3080, which could be a generic thickness:

    • NVIDIA RTX 3080 Founders Edition GPU - Front pads: 1.5mm - Back pads: 1.5mm (optional)

Another option would be to use thermal putty, but it can be pretty hard to find depending where you live. I used it on my EVGA 3080 Ti and the results were good.

Acer uses the Fujipoly Thermal Putty Pad (Fujipoly XR-e GPU Thermal Pad or paste) or paste for all their laptops and desktops, they list this brand in their guides of pasting cpu/gpu and replacing pads, you can get this putty on eBay or Amazon, so search for this paste/liquid pad paste in your area and use that.
