For US $1070 the AN515-46-R8BN is a bargain, as Acer are selling the same laptop AN517-41-R2KQ, ok it’s a 17” laptop but with the same exact specs for $1,699.99. the AMD runs a bit hotter than an Intel but the combination of the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 8 x 3.2 - 4.4 GHz, Cezanne H (Zen 3) CPU and tits Graphics adapter NVidia GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU - with 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM, Core: 1290 MHz, 100 W TDP ( including 15 W Dynamic Boost), and comes with 16GB RAM memory is a very high end spec and is more than for someone that only wants a laptop for “I'm a middle class user and my expectations are low” as this is a high end gaming laptop and more than you will ever use. If I were you, I would get it straightway and after run out of that shop as quick as you can, as they might think that you stole it from them, and after you left the shop, jump up as high as you can with joy😁😂😁

Yes, should be able to switch to nvdia dGPU display mode only in BIOS advanced tab by pressing Ctrl+S to reveal hidden option..

This is laptop mobile soldered dGPU chip that can vary from 80 - 125 watts. Not the same as a desktop PCIe plug in card that can peak at 300 watts. If Acer says mobile 95 GPU watts peak, then 95 GPU watts is peak, not 150.

It can't be TPG 95W for the RTX3050Ti as its specefied at TPD 35W adjustable to TDP 80W, also the Ctrl+S key does not work and does not do anything in BIOS > Advanced. Have a look at all the specs of the RTX3050Ti at the link.

The NVIDIA RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPUs are a mid-range offerings from NVIDIA for the notebook sector. These graphics feature an adjustable TDP in the range of 35 watts all the way up to 80 watts which will greatly impact performance and battery life. The RTX 3050 will feature 2,048 CUDA cores and a base clock between 713 MHz, and 1,530 MHz while the boost clock will vary from 1,057 MHz to 1,740 MHz depending on the selected TDP. The RTX 3050 Ti increases the core count to 2,560 with similar base clocks at 735 MHz to 1,463 MHz along with boost clocks in the range of 1,035 MHz to 1,695 MHz. The two cards will both feature 4 GB of GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 88 GB/s. We have a good idea of the expected performance of these cards, with leaked synthetic and gaming testing putting the RTX 3050 Ti near the RTX 2060 Max-Q while the base RTX 3050 trades blows with the GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q.

thanks for your detailed answer. Actually, I have only superficial knowledge on this subject. I just want to understand if high voltage means high quality. I have only one choice, I don't want my money to go to waste.

I'm a middle class user and my expectations are low. Do you think I should stay away or buy it? I don't want any other advice :)
