Aspire 5 A515-53g-708v RAM upgrade problems

I replaced the 4GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM slot with Hikvision 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RAM, but I now have a slew of issues, including
•Windows rebooting randomly
Stop Code:Failure of the Kernel Security Check
Stop Code Memory Management.
•Apps and games crashing
•Occasionally, a web browser will display the following error code: status_access_violation

I attempted some fixes, but they did not work. I utilized the Windows memory diagnostic program, and it returned no results. I need to know if I can fix it or not. Will simply replacing the RAM with the same module resolve the issue?

I have a later Aspire 5 model (end 2019), a515-54G, but the MOBOs are identical; your Whiskey Lake is a bit faster than my Kaby Lake. Our RAM clock speed is 2667 MHz and DDR4 up to 20 GB is supported. 1x 4 GB is soldered on the MOBO and DDR4 up to 1 x 16 GB can be installed in the only 1 free slot. You must find out what the CAS latency and frequency is for that soldered DDR4. As you are on Windows10 the WMIC command is very limited so you have to take out that Hikvision 8GB DDR4 close the back cover (no screws yet) and power up to see if your speed etc., is back to normal. Then run the following command in the Command Prompt opened as administrator:

wmic MemoryChip get Banklabel, Capacity, Configuredclockspeed, Devicelocator, FormFactor, Manufacturer, Serialnumber, Speed

Buy exactly the same DDR4 as the WMIC results if you can get the same brand and part number that is even better but 16 GB inststead of 4 GB (if you don't want 20 GB, want to save a bit of money and happy with 8GB buy get a 4 GB DDR4 but the speed will still be 2667 MHz). With the16 GB DDR4 added you will be in Dual Channel mode at 2667 MHz

Acer solders 3200 MHz or 2666 MHz on the a515 models whatever they have available, mine had 1x 2666 MHz soldered so I bought this: SK hynix HMA851S6CJR6N - VK Non ECC PC4-2666V 4GB DDR4 at 2666MHz 260pin SDRAM SODIMM ($10)
