Hello,

So I just got 2 noctua chroma black nf-s12a's and installed to the top of the case, connected both of them to the 2 sysfan (4pins) on the motherboard that were free ( near the top of the mobo ) and started the pc.

Problem is i can't seem to be able to control them nor check what RPMs they are at, not from the bios and not from any software i've tried. Predator sense, BIOS etc only show the "back, cpu and gpu" fans.

Any ideas? Should i connect them to other "fan" slots on the motherboard? Should i just connect them directly to the PSU?

Thanks in advance.

Small edit : also front FAN in predatorsense shows up. so 4, back, cpu, front and gpu.

Also tried hwmonitor, can only see cpufan, fanin1,2,3,4. 4 being GPU i guess since it's 0 while idling in windows. 1,2,3 being back front and maybe top? But they're all at 600 rpms. Should be able to set the noctuas at 1200rpms.

now i have the same setup chris with 7 fans, and i have the 2 upper fans plugged into the dual port 3 your talking about, and from all my testing they are linked to the front fans, when ya go into custom and adjust the sliders mine seem to only ramp up when i put the front sliders higher than the 60% it starts at, i slowly kept going up until i had the front fans on 100% and then realized they are linked to them, when i tested the rear and cpu and gpu they didnt change, so they gave us 4xargb ports and 6x4 pin power ports on the MB, 4 are near the top and the 2 lower ones are for the front fans, hope this helps.
