As the title says i have constant stuttering, the problem happends in every game (since the first day i bought it) at hing or low FPS (more or less indipendently from the game). I have tryed enabling and disabling optimus, playing with nvidia control panel and with in-game options with max fps-cap, v-sync, reinstalling windowa with a clean iso, etc. I tryed using windows' and acer's power plans but nothing works. The problem than seems hardaware related? CPU bottleneck doesn't seem to be the cause since stuttering happends even with the gpu running at 99%, temperatures looked fine with 71°C on the GPU and 70°C on the CPU. The last thing that come to my mind is the RAM, may laptop has a single stick 1xR8 16GB DDR5 running @ 4800MHz, can that be the problem then? The 2 images below are some examples but 99% are often lower .

Specs: Ryzen 7 6800H, Nvidia RTX 3070Ti, 16GB Single stick @ 4800MHz

Thanks for any possible suggestion

The AN515-46 will perform much better with Dual Channel RAM, the oem fitted 1x 16GB DDR5-4800MHz memory is running in Single Channel and not giving you the best memory functionality with high end gaming that Dual Channel does, hence and why you are getting the stuttering and other fps problems. Increase the ram to 2x 16GB DDR5-4800MHz ram, buy another 1x 16GB DDR5-4900MHz module of the same specs as what was fitted by Acer, to find out what your oem ram specs are and part number, install GPUz and get the specs for your laptop from GPUz.

Also as drivers are important to how a laptop performs in gaming, install the latest RTX3070Ti Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver Version: 531.68 WHQL but make sure that you use the Advance and then do a Clean Install of this driver, as that uninstalls the previous driver, which is essential for all Nvidia graphics driver installation. Also install the GeForce Experience software and run your games through this software as this software applies the ultimate settings for your RTX3070Ti gpu that Nvidia has tested as the best settings for many games that GeForce Experience applies. Also go to Nvidia Control Panel > Program Settings and set your games to the high=performance Nvidia processor. As all these settings will make your AN515-46 perform the best in gaming. Also make sure that all windows updates and AMD drivers are also up to date. Good luck and hope this helps you out,

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand display adapter
right click on display driver - uninstall
    Restart the computer

    It should work fine..

If it is still not working
Uninstall the display adapter from device manager
    Dont restart the computer.
    Go to support.acer.com
    chose your country
type snid or chose your model
    go to drivers
    Install the display driver

    It should work fine..

    Step 2

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..
Try and check whether it is working now ..

Kindly go through the details from link given below for improvised gaming performance.

Thanks for the answers @StevenGen @William_mk2 All drivers are up to date but trying doesn't hurt.

For the display adapter are you talking abaut the iGPU or the GPU?
