Hi I recently bought Nitro 7 laptop about a year now and suddenly the Nvidia Control Panel won't open and cannot be detected in dxdiag , so I've decided to check it on device manager and I saw a triangular yellow exclamation mark on the GTX 1660Ti GPU . I have already uninstall using DDU and reinstall the latest nvidia drivers but the problem is still there, so I've decided to reset my laptop to, the intel and nvidia drivers, it rolled back to its previous version but still no good ,  so I decided to install a previous windows 10 v1809 via bootable usb, and updated the drivers through windows update but sad to say the problem is still there.  I've also tried updating the GPU on device manager but whenever it's I installing always get a BSOD.

I already tried all of those but it's working , the script solution doesn't apply to me because I don't use external gpu.. do you think my gpu might be dead?

There is a chance, do you have warranty left?

I should still have a warranty but it's already void when I upgraded my ram, because I did not expect that acer laptop can be easily broken .. I will search for other solution , but after community quarantine I'll go to acer store , I'll try if they can fix this problem.

If there was no warranty sticker, then it is not void.

There was a warranty sticker saying , it will be void if the seal is borken... I'm starting to be disappointed for choosing this nitro 7 product instead of asus rog strix.. I don't have an ounce of clue that an acer product  can be easily broken. Anyway, there's no use for crying over a spilled milk. What's done is done, I just learned my lesson. Thanks for your answers batmalin

@Kurdivac hey this is also worth trying:
    1. Run command prompt as admin.
    2. Type "Sfc /scannow" and hit enter
    3. Reboot after completed.
    4. Run command prompt again
    5. Type "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup" and hit enter.
    6. Once completed, type "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" and hit enter
    7. Once completed, type "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth" and hit enter
    8. Reboot

Please click "Yes" if I have answered your question.

  • Try a battery reset:
If there is no reset button, turn off the notebook and disconnect the adapter. Then, press the power button for 12 seconds. Also see this link: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/586750/if-you-are-having-issues-with-your-nvidia-card-read-this-triton-500

Hello everyone, thank you for your suggestions , I tried it all no matter how many times I install new or old nvidia drivers or freshly install O.S the problem still persist. I already given up about this but the good news is my Gpu  or Windows just fixed it's own problem, in the past yesterday while I was using my laptop I realize that my windows just uninstall the gpu driver I installed, then I experienced a lag on my internet connection then after I woke this morning I just used my laptop as usual then I happen to realized that there was an icon at the lower right bottom of my screen and then I tried checking the device manager the code 43 problem disappear and a was now able to open the Nvidia control panel.. Again thank you everyone for your efforts.

Just in case anyone have the same Issue, I have the same model laptop. I open the pc and unplug the small circular battery (not the normal flat one, it looks like the one you found in your dads 90s watch) for almost 20 mins and I put everything back together again. The bios reset itself gracefully. Thank you. 😀
