A metal bracket inside the case on the right side which directs air from the front fans over the gpu

i dont think i have that, the only thing in front my front fans are the hdd caddy partially blocking the bottom one and the gpu bracket partially blocking the upper fan. im removing the hhd caddy and im going to remove that gpu bracket and see if i can mount something underneath it so there is no sag. then ill have alot better air flow.

The HDD caddy has a mounting for the vertical GPU bracket and for the heavy 4000 series it's needed else the cards will start sagging even in the vertical mounted position.

well, i used to work in a machine shop, i was going to make my own gpu bracket or use the existing one somehow as a vertical for my 3070 once i get everything removed and see if the added airflow even helps at all it seems the end of my card that is attached to the bracket is open ended so maybe the upper fan blowing right into it then will make a big difference maybe not and then ill go from there, yanno how NZXT in most of there cases has that angled upward fan mount on the bottom front? i want to get something like that for mine and see if that does anything, so i just wanna try to maximize air flow and cooling before i do anything major, and since i dont use hdd drives i figure if i remove that whole thing i can add that upward firing fan i want to try.

There's a cooler master universal vertical mount, i think that would fit going by the dimensions, but i never got to test it personally.

well, i need something to go underneath mine since its mounted horizontally, and there is a huge gap of 9.5 inches from the bottom of my case to the bottom of my 3070.

Awesome build @ NeoGeo! just to clarify that appears to be the stock MB you are running the ram in and with aura sync?? im preparing to do similar upgrades in my 5000 (4090 and 12700k or 12900k) IF thats the case and our MBs mesh with the asus software im going to get that ram and an asus 4090. i have corsair ddr5 at the moment but i didnt realise the icue wouldnt work at the time.

Hi so in my predator it is running the stock MB and gets Asus aura sync working with it. Ended up passing the predatpr down to the kid with a 3090 so he's pleased it and i build this mostly msi based machine ( non rgb ram, 64gb overclocked without xmp profile )

That is amazing love the look too. debating on upping my cooling. couple questions if you dont mind me picking your brain haha. 1- how hard was it to get armory crate/aura sync working? Just software download or hub required as well? Im sure your 7000 came with a nicer Motherboard but hoping the base software is similar. 2- how did you acheive non xmp faster ram clock? Im stuck at 4400mhz due to Motherboard/bios. I havent gone to 64gig from 32gig yet because i dont want to loose mhz. 3- just out of curiousity how does the MSI setup/rgb control compare to the aura sync software? IVe also been looking at the MSi 4090 oc model and my build could go either way

    @PredatorJoe

Cheers buddy appreciate it , so to answer the questions about upgrading the predator -

    1. It just worked out of the box, i don't think you need the Hub that came with the AIO as the Aura software reads the MB, however you'd be using the Aura sync just for the RAM, if you don't get the AIO.
    2. The Acer bios is extremely limited, XMP is just factory presets from manufacturers which will just work when selected, XMP on the predator 640s ( PO5, PO7 ) would've been great but unfortunately didn't materialize, the MSI motherboards have a feature called memory try it, where you can pick out a speed and it wll run it and if it don't work it will revert back to the last working state so that way non XMP RAM can be overclocked, the RAM in my system is actually 2 sticks of the default predator , and another 2 i got from ebay and it's running all 4 at an overclocked speed of 5200mhz, which is amazing, it can even go higher but i decided to play it safe for daily use. So that's 4 sticks 64GB@5200MHZ
    3. So best way to answer this is - Corsair ICUE > MSI center > Predator sense, i use Corsair to control all RGB and fan speeds, MSI center is very good too but because i'm using the Corsair AIO cooler, i wanted to run everything off one program.

Lastly in your case any 240mm AIO will fit, any RTX 4090 will fit i had the largest go in which is the Aorus Master, any standard form PSU ( go 1000w+ regardless of what the recommended is for future proofing) and any motherboard will fit, i actually had this build all made up in the predator case, before relocating it and rebuilding the predator - The predator case is awesome, easily the best prebuilt case ( ventilation, aesthetics ) , and the amount of upgradability they've gave means you'll always be future proofed.

Thank you so much! so helpful I owe you. And I get you now i had to go back and look at your pictures again. you origionally had an asus aio on the stock mother board now have that sweet corsair with the readout on the msi motherboard. I didnt notice the changes at first makes sense with the ram now haha. that is really nice, might as well try 5600mhz haha. Also wonder if any other ram brand use the aura software…

I think my plan is to keep my motherboard for now. Upgrade to the i9 cpu, and run the predator ram RGB and the asus 4090 RGB with the aura sync hopefully. If its not plug n play and/or my noctua cant keep the i9 cool enough I will get that AIO. I'll do my mother board once 32g ddr5 ram @ 4400 is bottlenecking the system while gaming if it ever will. Stalker 2 later this year should be a good test!

    thanks so much again!!

No problem dude, but i don't think it will bottleneck @4400 , with a i9 12th and a 4090 if you game at 4k it won't bottleneck from experience and should keep you going for a good while!

i installed the aura sync today and it said i had no compatible devices ugh, so i uninstalled it, so you must need something besides acer argb memory thats msi branded for it too work, it did not recognize any of my fans or the cooler master argb horizontal gpu bracket so i was like, now what lol.

unless you had aura compatible products it shouldn't pick up anything. The predator ram is advertised as working with msi, asus, and gigabyte software. Even tho our predator fans only work with predator sense. I think Acer is trying to become a big memory brand and is marketing it to work with everyone's software.

Yea that's what i mean, Aura sync will only pick up those vesta ii ram modules, it won't pick up any other argb if using the acer MB , only way you can use other argb other predator sense is through a hub or direct connection to the Aorus waterforce aio , as the the gigabyte center will pick it up.

ohh ok thats odd and strange, makes no sense at all, but it is what it is lol, im not buying a liquid cooler for the hub, im happy with my noctua air cooler, they need to sell that hub as a stand alone item.
