I have recently come across a video showing a GPU desoldered by experts.
I have a Preditor Helios 300 with the it 10750H CPU and GTX1660 TI GPU
I have seen there newer versions of this laptop with faster CPUs and better GPUs, my question is if i have these chip desoldered and replaced with the faster/bettter chips, will it work?

Device Preditor Helios 300 PH315-53
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
System type Win11 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

The probability is greater than 95% that the mainboard will be ruined trying to replace either chip even with directed reflow.

eGPUs are fairly clumsy to use on a laptop. Performance can sometimes be considerably less than advertised/expected.
