my Acer AN515-52 has a 125gb Nvme, i want to upgrade to ITB Nvme, when ever i try to use third party or samsung migration, the system transfers perfectly

But the new Nvme is not detected by system, even doesnt show in Bios, Have disabled secure boot, still doesnt detect

if i try to boot, it says no bootable device, the bios is upgraded to latest 1.28

but if i put back the original Nvme it works perfectly, tried to reflash the bios, the bios upgrade program dosent do

What new 1TB M.2 SSD drive are you using, as this laptop can operate on both a SATA-3 or a PCIe 3x2 M.2 drive that are the most compatible to use with this laptop, there is only one M.2 512GB PCIe3x2 type M end key that Acer lists in the AN515-52s SG as a compatible drive and its the INTEL - SSDPEKKW512G7, all the rest are SATA-3 B&M end key type M.2 SSDs, so make sure that you have a compatible drive as the Intel also comes in 1TB capacity.

There are many guides on the web of how to clone an M.2 drive, don't turn off Secure Boot, turn Secure Boot back on! Look at this guide as its a comprehensive guide and it should work for your laptop "Best M.2 SSD Cloner to Clone M.2 SSD in Windows 11/10 Safely" Don't use the Samsung Data Migration software if your M.2 SSD drive is NOT a Samsung drive. Btw, I've just done a clone to a larger M.2 SSD but my Nitro 5 AN515-56 has 2x M.2 slots in the laptop and its allot faster than an external M.2 adaptor, so and if you follow that guide you will not go wrong as that is how its done.

i will try this, to clone the drive, another issue with this laptop is the second sata port has a 256 SSD, it shows in the bios, but in windows it doesnt, even not even in disk management

this laptop only has one NVME and one SATA slot for HDD/SDD
