I've spent the last 8 months trying to fix this issue with Currys/PC World (UK) and I still have a laptop that won't consistently charge…
I purchased a brand new Triton 300 in January 2022. At the end of June 2022, the laptop charger sparked and cut off the electrics in my house. The laptop then wouldn't charge at all.
I reached out to Currys/PC World, who took months to supply a replacement, saying they didn't have access to the charger for this specific laptop. I then received a replacement charger, but it only appears to charge until a game is loaded up. The moment the fans kick in on the laptop, a loud beep can be heard and the laptop stops charging. Currys have said they cannot reproduce the issue and therefore cannot fix it. I've can consistently reproduce it, every time I launch any game on the laptop (I have a video of this).
If anyone has any idea how to fix this, i'd be greatly appreciative. This process has been extremely exhausting so far.
