    Yes, it does not support.
Since it has 4GB RAM not on the second slot you can only add one more 4GB

I think you made a mistake. Those models were shipped with 12GB of memory so 8+4 (see Intel Flex Memory Access):

@L@laurent_14 you are correct, depending on the region some shipped with 12gb of RAM proving that 12gb does work. However matched RAM with matched CL will work in Dual Channel and is superior to any other combination.

    Hello @Shakir98

Yes, it will be okay.  :)

4GB+8GB will obviously give you 12 GB total.....which is fine (okay).  :)

Of that 12 GB,  8GB will run in dual channel.....with the remaining 4 GB running in single channel (assuming you buy the correct compatible memory).  Which is fine (okay).  :)

If I were buying an 8 GB stick of ram to work with your AN515-52's  existing 4 GB RAM, I would buy either of the parts below....because I know they will play nice together (work fine together).  :)

The link below has a lot of good info.  I'm not biased towards any memory company.  I just find that Crucial and Kingston make it easier for us as consumers to buy compatible memory and not have to become a memory expert in the process (boring).  :)

Yes, that's true, but there are a lot of users on this forum from all parts of the globe....so I generally like to leave Crucial or Kingston website links because if they have more questions about where-to-buy....they can contact Crucial or Kingston directly by phone or email or chat.  Also, when you post Crucial or Kingston website link, it gives more detailed memory specs whereas often times Amazon doesn't give as much detail about the memory specs.  If they take those specs below to any computer store in their country, they ***should*** (hopefully) come out a winner even if they don't buy the crucial or kingston part.

    Example of detailed specs:

Works for me. I'm looking to upgrade to 32 mhz. Curcial works just fine.

    Thanks
