The reason is because you haven’t installed the IRST driver.

Go to the C24-1700 Acer Drivers & Manuals site and download the IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Utility Version:19.0.1022.0 driveronto another USB and have this ready when you get to the Win-11 installation section at "Where do you want to install Windows" then format the boot drive and after install from the separate USB the IRST driver, as you need this driver so that you can do a Clean Install of Win-11 installation, after you have done this, the Win-11 willrecognises the boot drive and you can continue the Win-11 installation.

No need to use a separate flash drive just for the driver. Extract the driver files to your Windows install flash drive and you can load them from there.

Have you ever opened this AIO and replaced or removed the M.2 boot drive? As there is something wrong as this AIO Aspire C24-1700 All-in-One Computer came oem with Windows 11 Home and the Education version is a downgrade to Home. Also, this AIOs oem boot drive is an M.2 SSD 512 GB PCIe 3 x4 type drive that works perfectly with your computer, so its not the M.2 SSD drive.

To install the Win-11 Education you need to Delete > Format and after install the Intel IRST driver as that should work perfectly. As its impossible that you don't have the "Where do you want to install Windows?" section in the installation process.

Have a look at this guide “Install Windows 11 Education or Windows 10 Education Edition at IU” as this guide explains everything and gives links of how to do a bootable USB for Win-11 Education.

No. everithing is OK, but i need this AIO can remoted by windows remote desktop. in home edition, this feature is not available. so i install this AIO with windows 11 education. if I disable VMD Controller in BIOS, installation process it's running smoothly, but if VMD controller is enable, i never seen WDC PC SN530 even after loading driver IRST

If you are unable to locate the SSD storage when trying to install Windows 11 Education on your Acer Aspire C24-1700, there could be a few possible reasons for this issue:

    1. Incompatible hardware: The Aspire C24-1700 may not be compatible with Windows 11 Education due to its hardware specifications. You could try checking the Acer support website to see if your model is compatible with Windows 11, or consult the Windows 11 system requirements to ensure that your hardware meets the necessary specifications.
    2. Driver issues: There may be missing or outdated drivers for the SSD storage device, preventing it from being detected during the installation process. You could try downloading and installing the latest drivers for the SSD from the Acer support website.
    3. BIOS settings: The SSD storage may be disabled in the BIOS settings of the Aspire C24-1700. You could try accessing the BIOS settings during startup (usually by pressing a key such as F2 or Del) and checking the storage settings to ensure that the SSD is enabled.
    4. Hardware issues: It is possible that there is a hardware issue with the SSD storage device itself. You could try running hardware diagnostics to identify any issues and take appropriate steps to address them.

Overall, troubleshooting the issue of not being able to find SSD storage during Windows 11 Education installation on the Aspire C24-1700 may require some trial and error. If the issue persists, it may be necessary to seek help from a technical support specialist or professional.

You need to extract the SetupRST.zip file from the driver download to a folder on your Windows install flash drive. I suggest you use the defaults and have it named "SetupRST". Once you have that done, boot and start the install. When it gets to the screen where it doesn't show the SSD, use the option to load the driver, and tell it to look in the SetupRST folder for the driver. It should go ahead and load the driver and then show you the SSD.
