Hello, I have upgraded from the original 16GB DDR5 5600 to 32GB DDR5 5600.

Sadly, this runs only at 4800mhz.

When installing one of the old 8GB sticks and one of the new 16GB sticks together, they both run on 5600mhz, so the new sticks should be suitable for 5600mhz.

Please advise.

You need to match the exact Acer oem fitted spec CL ram, as any different ram will not be compatible and will run slower. What new ram kit (2x16GB DDR5) did you upgrade to, as the best is to get CPUz and see the Acer fitted oem ram specs and match that manufacturer and CL and timing exactly but in their 16GB capacities like 2x 16GB DDR5-5600MHz type ram. Do a Crucial System Scan as usually Crucial have Acer compatible ram that they guarantee and it works 100%.

The new ones are Kingston Fury 2x16gb 5600 cl 40-40-40. But on cpuz they run on 36-35-35.

But when I fit one of the old sticks with one of the new ones, both run at 5600 as they should.

Only when I install both new ones they switch to 4800.

Am I running into a bottleneck here that the i9 13900hx cant handle?

Same issue here. I replaced out of the box DDR5 16gb 5600 ram with 2x16gb Crucial DDR5 5600 SODIMM (CT2K16G56C46S5) and this ram is detected as 4800.
