Aspire A515-57 can i charge the device through USB-C thunderbolt port?

I have an Aspire A515-57,it has a thunderbolt 4 port and i was wondering if i could charge my laptop through it.

    You are right. I have also just searched for it, but found no correct answer. So wait until one of the ACE's will look it up in the service guide.

    Please note that the PDF manual suggests it does NOT support it. However, the specs on the Acer website suggest it does. At least for the A515-57-52H6.

    Do you all have a loose charging port, because that was the 1st thing I thought when so many people are asking about charging through the usb-c connect

    The port was loose from day 10, say. Not from day 1 but certainly soon after. Never had a problem like this and never had such a skinny charger.

    No my charging port is fine, I just wanted charge all my devices through usbc.But I can see your concern for these skinny chargers, they look like they could break easily.Fortunately mine hasnt.
