I have Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55 and I have a popping audio problem ''only'' when you try to pause a going on sound or you wander around the sounds which is in a low hertz. Both speakers and the headphones gives the same result always and I already tried every kind of driver stuff. So I end up with it is a hardware issue. I also have an audio interface named as UMC22 and it doesnt matter if I plug it to laptop or not, plug headphones into it or directly to the laptop it just doesnt matter. I re-install the Windows 10 two times and nothing changes. What should I do ? Can I use my audio interface to solve this issue or not ? What do you think the problem is ? Thanks.

    Hello!!

    @Erkan99

    Crackling or popping noises:

    Method 1:

How to remove and reinstall your audio driver in device manager

    1. Press the Windows key ⊞ on your keyboard at the same time.
    2. Select Device Manager.
    3. Expand the section for sound, video and game controllers
    4. Right-click and select Uninstall for each item in the sound, video and game controllers menu.
    5. Restart your computer

    Method 2:

How to download and install a driver from the Acer Support Site

    1. Visit the Drivers and Manuals section of the Acer support website.
    2. Enter your Serial Number/SNID or search for your product by Model.
    3. Choose your Operating System.
    4. Select Driver.
    5. Locate the driver you want to download and click on the download link. The file will be saved in your Downloads folder by default.
    6. Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the file.
    7. Right-click the downloaded ZIP-file and then click Extract All Files.
    8. Double-click the folder that has the same name as the downloaded file.
    9. Locate and double click the setup.exe or install.exe file you want to install.
    10. Click Yes when prompted to allow the app to make changes to your PC.

    To the Audio Driver now:

    1. Open Device Manager
    2. Go to your Realtek Sound Card.
    3. Rightclick on it = Deinstall (+ Completely Checkmark!)
    4. Restart your Pc.
    5. There is a current Version of the Audio Driver. Please download & install this (Direct Download Link - Acer):
    6. Restart your Pc .... again!?!. ;)

    7. Test your System.

    Regards,

I had the same problem for my Nitro AN515-58 and I found that RealTek audio driver was the culprit.

I solved the problem by downloading an earlier version ( not the latest version ) from Acer and installed it.

Hey, I have the same model, which driver version did you download? The oldest one? I'm having the same issue with a Logitech G335, the crackling/distorsion usually happens when I play something after a while not playing anything.
