    well if its compatible with your socket then yes, and preferably mount it to the top of your case, if you cannot do that then the rear fan spot is the only other option, i have a 5000 and we can mount a 240 on the top rack or 2 fans for exhaust im not sure what yours has on the top rack for room, let us know then we can help you more with more info.

    I would only have room on top for one fan maybe, my motherboard doesn't have socket for cooler pump is there a way around that or not?

    well i meant like mines an lga 1700 socket so when i bought my noctua air cooler i just made sure they were compatible thats all ya need to do and whatever u buy will come with all the hardware to connect it to the acer plate i didnt remove my MB and replace anything and yeah thats good if u can mount the water cooler radiator and fan up top instead of the rear.

    The 3000 and 5000 have different cases, with the 3000 being smaller. Measure twice to make sure it will fit…
