I disconnected my laptop screen from the motherboard and now my laptop won't turn on

My screen is broken, and I needed to access BIOS. Since BIOS doesn't display to HDMI, I tried unplugging the screen from the motherboard to see if that would make it default to HDMI, and now it won't turn on (even when I reconnect the screen to the motherboard). It doesn't appear to be able to charge either. Any ideas? Have I totally bricked the computer somehow?

Hi @slimyrhino waiting for more answers that can help your query, I understand that some connector must not be correct or something is broken, I would personally take the equipment to be checked by a technical service to be checked but before please review the connections again and make sure nothing is broken.
    Greetings.

Hi @Alejandro_AC, thanks for the response! I've been double checking and I think a connector has come out. Why a connector for the screen would affect the ability to turn on, I have no idea but I think that might be it. I'll take it to a repair shop when I can. I'll mark this as closed (if I can, first time posting lol)
