suddenly the sound stopped working. It seems to be playing, but there's no audio. AN517-41
Hi there,
I just received my laptop back from service and they installed everything, from Windows to drivers. However, I noticed that I only had one partition, so I reinstalled Windows myself to create two partitions. Afterwards, I installed the drivers from the DVD that came with the laptop, but suddenly the sound stopped working. It seems to be playing, but there's no audio, and when I connect my headphones, I hear a rapid beating sound. I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled only the Realtek driver, but the same problem occurred. (As a reminder, the motherboard was replaced in the service). Do you have any solutions? I'm thinking about reinstalling Windows and only installing the audio driver to see if the problem persists.

Download and install iobit's Driver Booster freeware to see if it can pick up any better audio drivers on line.

acer nitro 5 sn XXXX
I try it but I think is an imperfect contact between the place where u into the Jack and mother board, i don't try driver boost because I send already to service, but I want to know what community say about this issue. They say to me (if u don't installed a driver or window properly you have to pay for that, and is absurd, I reinstalled the window because they give the window with one partition and I installed the all driver from the dvd what came up with the product, and after that I saw the problem) I still believe is hardware not software and I don't want to pay for other mistakes
