I have installed Acer Care Center from the official Acer website , and when I turn on the Battery Charge Limit Function it is dint working
Version :

problem :
but after time it doesn't discharge , and continues to have 100% charge level , but in my friend`s Acer nitro 5 (Ryzen 7 4800H and 1650Ti) this function works as expected , maybe because I have newer laptop , Acer didn't updated care center to support this function in my model ?
How can I limit battery charge without a Care center ?

Hold on!!! What was the factory installed operating system if any? Win10?  Win11?  Linux? Nothing?

Sorry, the AcerCareCenter app version that you're using was designed for the factory-installed ACER OEM Win11 operating system, not Win10. Furthermore, system file libraries in Microsoft generic Windows versions are often not the same as those in Acer OEM  factory installed versions upon which drivers and apps depend.

The charge limit function has little or no effect on battery longevity or health despite anecdotal claims you might find on the internet. The limiter really isn't too useful except maybe make users feel better. :)

just don't buy nitro series from Acer next time, i am a power user and used almost every budget laptop type, hp pavilion, victus, lenovo ideapad, and asus Tuf all got better build quality and support…for me i am using currently nitro 5 AN517-55 and had to replace the item because the battery was defected and now the second Nitro i got gave me the same issue..acer support very unhelpful….so in case u want a better experience, change!

first, unplug the charger from the outlet

let the battery drain below 80 percent (79 percent below) before plugging the charger back to the outlet

open Acer Care Center then enable Battery Charge Limit and click continue with the Battery Charge Limit Notice

you can close the Acer Care Center

watch if the battery percentage remains at 79% or 80%, if so then battery charge limit is functioning and your battery life lasts longer
