My acer nitro 5 i5 12500h 3050 heats upto 100 degree celcius . I put the fans on max speed and used a cooler , still cpu temperature stayed over 95 . Is it going to damage my laptop permanently ? any solutions ?

  • Hi @Tuhin_Sarkar Yes, the equipment can be damaged, especially if these temperatures are prolonged over time.

When do they reach those temperatures, in games or in normal use?

What is the exact model of the laptop?

What is the version of the operating system?

Changing the processor performance boost mode from aggressive to disable should help as it limits your CPU temp
