Hello,
My computer came in yesterday which was very nice. I used it fine in my first boot, however, when I came back from a class the second boot showed signs of problems. The screen was black with just the mouse. I fixed it with some tweaking of the GPU Drivers which got me to worry. I then had problems with programs that came default with the computer, like not opening or crashing. At that point I started blaming the OS itself since I had reset the computer so many times, so I tried to downgrade to the more reliable Windows 10. I foolishly decided to use the MediaCreationTool22H2 for Windows 10 without backing up the previous factory instalation. I got it from the official source at
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10
. I didn't use an external drive for this however as I did not have one on me. It turned out to be a curse in desguise as I had to download all the drivers manually from this Acer website, which I have no experience with and am not sure worked well. I simply wanted a stable version of Windows 10 to use. I partly got that as many of the original problems are gone now but it still does not look or have the same feel as I remember it having with its factory programming. With it being a manual installation of the factory program and all I think it is expected but hope someone can help me as I am not sure if I can get the factory setting back and not have to go through inexperiencedly installing all the drivers and such again. I am not against stopping this quest here but this shall be my last stand.
My specs are 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) Gen i5-11400H @ 2.70Ghz, Memory: 16GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU if ever needed. If you need anything for more info don't hesitate to ask for it, such as the SNID and such, although I am not sure if that would put me at risk of anything.
Thank you for your time and take care,
Victor
