The Samsung 860 EVO SATA 3 M.2 is not compatible with this laptop, the M.2 slot is only compatible with a PCIe 3x4 type M.2 drives that is why its not working and it will never ever work! I've got the same A515-57-56UV laptop and I've just upgraded the M.2 boot drive to a 1TB WD SN770 Black drive and it works 100% and I'm using this laptops oem 512GB Hynix M.2 SSD boot drive that is a PCIe 3x4 in slot #2 as a slave and it works 100%, if you follow the guide above it will work with a PCIe 3 x4 M.2 drive, don't use the Samsung 860 EVO SATA 3 M.2 drive as its not compatible.
