As with other types of troubleshooting, tracking down the reason for your monitor's blurry situation involves going through a series of tests. First, you need to know the common causes of computer screen issues. Once you know those, you can apply the same steps to determine the cause of other problems you have with your display.

A computer monitor has a variety of components that make it function. One is the display itself, which is made up of a screen and internal electronic components. However, the other lies within your computer, which uses a video card to communicate with the display via a cable.

Hello, here I have the same problem with the same monitor model, I bought it a few months ago and I tried to contact support but they only give the basic solutions to try disconnecting and connecting I also tried with other cables and even with another computer but the problem continues I tried updating the video drivers, even the lines appear without having anything connected, only the monitor is on, it is my first Acer product and it came out defective.

if i leave it on for a longer time it gets all over the screen and it's very annoying recently once it went off by itself but only for a few hours and it came back again, did you find any solution?

@Ndst your issue is pretty obviously an issue with the apps or drivers on your computer, not with the monitor. The monitor is giving clear displays outside the app's window refresh area. Take a look at what you have running, maybe try booting in safe mode to help diagonse.

that was the first thing i did check the drivers and also check by connecting another computer also check with different cables, even when the monitor is off or in standby mode, the problem appears.

I tried to contact support but they only recommended turning the monitor off and on as a solution and checking the cable connections and they removed my guarantee at the time of attending my ticket, since according to ACER's Guarantees it does not apply to Amazon international shipments, so I could not do anything about the monitor is about 6-7 months since I acquired it.

So far I have not found a solution and for now I regret having bought it, this is my first purchase of Acer products and I am disappointed in the quality 😓

Yes, those two pictures are completely different than what you were showing in the first picture, where the artifacts only happened in one window. I assume you also see them when the Acer logo is displaeyed as you first tirn it on? Try it with the video cable disconnected, turn it off and wait a bit then turn it on. Does it show up in that splash screen then? The last two pictures look more like a cable issue, either picking up inteference from the environment or the cable is deteriorating internally.
