My new device (Nitro 5) cannot wake up from sleep in any way. Forced shutdown must be done and then turned on

    Which Nitro model do you have? The full model number is on the same sticker as your serial number and looks something like AN5xx-xxx-xxxx. What software have you installed in addition to the Windows build that came with it? Often symptoms like that can be traced to something not behaving right in sleep mode.

    please give the complete model (e.g. Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58-_ _ _ _ ? supply the 4 characters (combination of letters and numbers)

  • Hello! I would try to perform the following steps:

    a) disable fast startup in power options and then restart windows.

    b) update all drivers from intel and nvidia websites.

    c) update the bios to the latest version.

    d) Disconnect all devices from the USB ports.

    e) download all windows updates.


    At each step, check if the problem continues to occur.
