Hello everyone. I have Acer Nitro AN515-58 which I just bought a few weeks ago. As I play some games like genshin impact, valorant, etc. I noticed that my cpu temp. reaching 98°C at 25% utilization. Is this normal? or should I need to contact the costumer service for this problem? I change the mode form performance to default after I saw the temp.

Thankyou in advance

  • Hi @Midnight10 that temperature is very high for a new equipment, if it lasts over time, does it reach 98 degrees only at one point or did it stay for a long time?

    @Jack22

    Thankyou! it actually works. However, it is still reaching above 80°C at 5-8% utilization. Is there anyway to reduce it to below 70°C?

    @Alejandro_AC It only reach 98°C at one point and lowers for the next second, but if I continue playing as usual it's reaching 98°C again.

  • Have you considered using a cooler base?

    In any case, if you are not calm with these temperatures, contact Acer support who can give you more precise information about the behavior of the temperatures in your laptop.

    All the best.
