THERMAL THROTTLING YES WHEN RUNNING BENCHMARK TEST ON INTEL XTU HELIOS 300

Hello i am getting thermal throttling: yes while running benchmark test on intel xtu is it normal? and is it normal to reach 92°C?

My computer is brand new bought it one month ago

HELIOS 300 - I7 11800H - RTX 3070

    Typically XTU will run with max power packages engaged to do a thorough stress test on the system.

    That said most games won't require 100% CPU usage to run properly and typically runs less than a stress test would.


    Try running a game leaving Predator Sense open and see if with your temperature rise you see the CPU usage also dip.

    There has been instances where XTU will say "thermal throttling" based on their in house cut sheets for that CPU while in actuality the CPU isn't thermal throttling in real world usage.
