    Hi @ gokdenizs

    1. Click on the Notifications icon and then click on Network.
    2. Click the network you wish to connect to.
    3. Choose if you wish to automatically connect to your network, and then click on Connect.
    4. Enter in your security key and click Next.

Your Acer laptop cannot connect to Wi-Fi if your wireless network adapter is missing or corrupted. You should therefore update your wireless network adapter driver to the latest version to prevent it from network problems. You can either manually or automatically update your wireless network adapter driver.

What is the exact specs of your A315-22? As this laptop has 3 different AMD cpu types A4-9120E, A6-9220E or the higher end A9-9420E and the OEM ram is only 4GB which is not really adequate for Win-10 hence why your laptop is running slow.

The best is to upgrade this laptops ram to the 1x DDR4-3200MHz at 8GB (see the range of ram suggested by Acer below) as this laptop also has two different types of Wi-Fi/BT OEM cards, either a Qualcomm or an Intel card, if you have the Intel card change it to the QCA9377 Qualcomm Wi-Fi 2.5/5G and BT 5,0 card model (its pretty cheap) and here are the last Win-10 Wi-Fi driver and the last Win-10 BT driver, as this card is a better card and best for this laptop that should make your wireless and BT work 100%. Also, reinstall the Win-10 OS that you had as this laptop with the correct drivers should work perfectly with Win-10 Pro or Home, its a 100% better OS than Win-8.1. Try all that as running and downgrading to Win-8.1 is not preferable for this laptop as Acer has all the drivers for Win-10 that this laptop should run and your laptop should run pretty fast and the Wi-Fi/BT should work 100%.

    Suggested ram for the A315-22

I recently purchased an Acer aspire 3 a315-23 series a8gy model with the 128gb sdd option and upon receiving the item when I purchased it I flipped it open wow nice laptop for the price, and it turned right on straight away out of the laptop carrier. I gave the gentleman the 140$ for this machine and I was happy until I walked into the public library to test it out and check for upgrade option on the intergalactic network and I find out the touchpad for the keyboard is not working one bit. No response to left or right click. Found out after my trusty google search skills that it was dissabled by some furry animal most likely or someone who just got bad and hit the keyboard hard enough and in the right place to activate the keyboard sequence FN + F6(7). Then I scroll Down with what still seems oddly enough to be a brand new machine couldn’t have been used more than once. Right? Well I try connecting to the public library 5g network that I currently connected to with my iPhone SE 2020. Scratch my head. Got a few diff key sequences again and no luck. Total factory rest and then update and upgrade to windows 11. I then open the WiFi portal on my laptop and still no available WiFi networks to connect to. Not even one option and my iPhone is showing 3 other WiFi options besides the public library. So. I start looking up what else this could possibly be. After around about three hours of hardcore steaming anxiety filled ragefull research on my Google doodle. I find out that maybe. Just maybe. The network adapter is no good at all and suggests that maybe just maybe a smart watch resting in the right place upon the laptop while using it would cause it to malfunction and then quit working all together. Bummer right? Some ***** smart watch I tell ya. Smart you say? Ok so the laptop was priced at 135 on marketplace. I meet up with a smile. The man hands me a brand new laptop bag I think targus. And says there’s also a wireless Logitech m524 mouse inside the bag as well. Wow. Ok. Remember that 135 u wanted. Here’s 140$ thought I got one hell of deal. I go to the store get ten dollars of lottery scratchers and immediately kicked myself in the ol go nads. Then I priced the components that are compatible with the a8gy model and shut it down.

I get it home and can’t find the right ***** screw driver for the life of me that will fit that small ***** little + so. I take a 98 cent steak knife from Walmart and I scratch the back of my head with the dull Side and try that on the screws! Boom my luck starts getting better! I get the screws out and place them in a bottle cap like a smart man who dropped out in the 9th grade at 16 yrs old and got a GED. Pop the back off nice n easy like a glove. No dents. No scratches. Perfect condition laptop with what appears to be hardly any use. Immediately upon further inspection. I see that there’s two. One white one black wires just loose and hanging there with metal ends and with the knowledge of tearing down several PlayStation three units and jailbreaking them. I see it’s just an easy fix. But. What could have caused these two wires to come disconnected to begin with. I start brains storming and my inner dimensional cable special pops on the old 2009 Sanyo plasma tv and poof. My imagination comes into play like a brand new ps5 in developer mode. (Do not ***** tell Sony I told you about this) someone gets mad. The wife uploads a new pornhub special online with the neighbor. And the neighbor drives a ***** Porche 911 and he owns a ***** Suzuki samari with a whole spiral notebook full of fuming problems with it. Takes his two ***** god hammers and pounds his fist down as hard as he can completely gives up on his original 2020 acer aspire 3 315-23-a8gy and goes with about 8 more brand new laptops before he ends up needing more money for upgrades and lists this new laptop of mine on the marketplace. Am I right. Or am I right?
