VBIOS UPDATE? Monitor not posting. PO7-640-UR11

The PO7-640-UR11 desktop with the samsung neo g9 is not posting by itself. I have to plug in another 1080p 16:9 monitor in order to get the PC to start up, once in windows, I can use the super wide monitor.

Also, am getting some odd flickering things sometimes in some APPs. I have read this may be fixed with a DisplayID vbios update?

There is an nVidia vbios update for this, yet I do not want to brick a video card... As this is an "acer" nvidia card.... I want to know if a founders edition Vbios update will be fine to use on this acer/unbranded RTX 1080??

Also, is there any other way to contact support to get this heard? Besides "live chat" and calling a hotline number?

Don't use any other vbios firmware for the RTX-3080 gpu except the official Acer PO7-640 desktops Firmware VBIOS that Acer releases for the RTX-3060, as all the other vbios that are around on other sites are not genuine and will damage your RTX-3080 and will cause performance problems of the gpu, if you already have updated the RTX-3080s vbios to the ""Founders Edition VBIOS" then that is why you have the problems that you have and you will get even more problems with the gpu.

Read your Samsung Neo G9 manual and install whatever Samsung have as a driver for this monitor, see if that helps, also make sure that you have the latest NVidia RTX-3080 gpu driver Version:528.49 WHQL and when you install this driver, make sure that you use the Advanced Option and do a clean install that uninstalls all previous NVidia drivers. Try that as this monitor should work with your PO7-640 desktop and the RTX-3080

Updating the vbios on the predator is a risky move as it doesn't have igpu or hdmi on board if things goes south, and would need another system with a igpu and hdmi on the motherboard so therefore it's not recommended, also when doing it you should make a backup of the current vbios and save it if things do go bad. That said if you've already updated, and are having problems with no back up then in that situation i would use the following bios -

No, I have not updated any Vbios at all..... The only thing i did was update the acer motherboard bios to the latest version, along with the neo g9 firmware

    SO,

I have the most recent version of nVidia drivers installed, clean install like you said.

Most recent Samsung neo g9 monitor driver and firmware.

    Most recent acer predator bios.

I can not boot up my computer or get into the bios even with just the predator and G9 monitor. I have to plug in a 1080p 16:9 monitor in order to get this pc to POST.

This is either an issue with the samsung g9 firmware OR the Vbios of the 3080 or predator mobo i feel.

Acer, Please let me know what I should do?

Another thing to note, I know that when I have this monitor in 240hz mode, it is using display stream compression.... Do your motherboards/video cards not support this when trying to POST ?

I just changed the Hz rate on the monitor to 120Hz, and it posted and loaded into windows just fine.

However, seems very ridiculous to have to change it back and forth every time you want to restart or start your pc up?

Hopefully there is a fix soon or something??

Remember that this is a community support board, there are no Acer support people that are here, only the board moderators.

Ok, could someone tell me where I can actually contact support ? OTHER than a chat room and calling a hotline?
