Greetings all I have a Acer Netbook Aspire One D255. A few months ago, I got a boot error.

Check Cable Connection!

PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.

No bootable device -- insert bootable device and press any key.

I have already tried the F2 and moved the HDD to the 1st position suggestion, and it does recognize the new 320gb hard drive I just installed. Cat Sad I have searched the suggestions here and I also did a Google search to the point that I have a headache the size of the Goodyear Blimp. ANY help would be MOST appreciative. Thanks. Cat Very Happy

The problem is the last line:

No bootable device -- insert bootable device and press any key.

If you have installed another drive, ensure that it is bootable or boot from removable or optical media.

ITs the same hd, but just a bit larger. I went from a 250gb to a 320gb. It is brand new.

Boot from bootable media, optical or USB and ensure that the drive you have installed is bootable.

Use recovery media to restore your operating system to the drive.

That is all the recommendations that I can make.
