Hi,

I find that in certain countries like Malaysia, India and other Asian countries Acer laptops have a warranty void sticker on back panel screws.

I don't understand the reason behind putting it there.

Does anyone know the company's justification behind putting warranty void stickers on acer laptops? Other vendors don't follow any such thing.

Thanks

Its because all of these countries have allot of unqualified DIY computer repair tech shops that are usually very good, but Acer does not want their warranty products to be fixed by them and that is why they put the warranty stickers on their products. Acer only suggests and wants an Acer qualified tech to do any work on their products.
