Realtek audio drivers(Acer nitro)

Good afternoon, I need help with realtek drivers, I installed the official Audio_Realtek_6.0.9126.1 driver from the acer website (by serial number)

but I don’t have an echo cancellation item in the microphone settings and because of this an echo effect is created. Is there a way to download drivers for similar Acer laptops from the official website or check if the drivers are suitable for my model.

I also tried uninstalling the drivers and letting Windows 11 install them on its own, but that didn't work either.

I also tried to download "acer purified Voice Console", but the noise reduction scale does not respond.

Go into Device Manager and rollback all the drivers in Sound, video and game controllers, right click on each driver and click on Update driver >Browse my computer for driver >Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer and revert all drivers to their default drivers versions.

Never update these audio drivers individually as that is why you are getting those problems, unless windows update them as audio drivers are not just the Realtek driver but there are Intel and NVIDIA audio drivers also that all have to be updated.

Thank You very much for your reply❤️. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix this, maybe I'm doing something wrong, or not all drivers are installed initially.

could you take a look at this?

    1) updated the drivers according to the instructions (screenshot 1)

    2) restarted the laptop

    3) on the 2nd screenshot there is also no echo cancellation

there are many more drivers on your screenshot (nvidia and so on), could this be the case?

You mean these two drivers (screen3) are not enough for all microphone functions to work correctly?

    1) "High Definition Audio Device" is Microsoft's generic audio driver. It means that you didn't install the audio driver correctly.

    2) Anytime you see acer purified voice console, it's either AMD or Intel SST that is the driver controlling your laptop's internal microphone array.

    3) Since your screenshot has already have Realtek (R) Audio in the device manager, therefore Realtek audio driver has nothing to do with it. Re-install your graphics driver.

    4) Anytime you are hearing echo from a skype or zoom call, it is THE OTHER GUY that has to enable acoustic echo cancellation, not the guy hearing echo.

    5) Also check if you accidentally enable "listen to this device", you would need to disable it.

    6) Personal call means near field microphone pickup. Your laptop only picks up sound from very near the laptop's internal microphone and ignores the far away sound. Conference call means far field microphone pickup. Your laptop only picks up sound from far away sound and ignores the close up sound.

Thanks for the answer. I would like to comment on some of your points, and also to know something.

    1) I also think that I installed the drivers incorrectly (or the drivers that I installed did not work correctly). Is it possible to download an audio driver from a similar laptop? (and how to access these drivers if the laptop serial number is requested on the acer website?)

    3) if we are talking about the nvidia graphics driver, then I updated to the latest version today 528.02 ("perform a clean installation") using Geforce experience, and after that I got this:

    4) other people hear an echo from me, there is a second device (PC), drivers from the motherboard site are installed there, and this function can be activated. If the problem is in one driver (or drivers), then please tell me where can I get alternative drivers for a similar Acer nitro model?

    5) This feature is disabled.

6)Could it be that "personal call" = "echo cancellation"? 🤪

    in summary:

    * tried to download drivers from the site acer

    * tried to reinstall the video driver (right click -> update driver->let me pick....) already with the new nvidia driver.

    * tried to remove them and let Windows download them on its own (to a more up-to-date version), but none of the methods added echo cancellation to the microphone section.

AEC should be in the realtek audio console app.
