I recently made a 2nd bootable directory for the Linux Pop-OS and when I deleted it, I could no more use or access my BIOS set-up options. When I click the boot options key, the system freezes on the ACER logo, and the fan speed increases until it reaches the maximum limit and nothing happens. I can not do any operations until I force shut down the PC by pressing the power button.

Please help me out with the issue. My PC works fine with Windows 10 but I can not access the boot options. What shall I do? Anything possible?😥

My system configuration - 16 GB RAM, 512 GB ROM, powered by AMD Ryzen 5 4600H, and 4 GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU.

Open Control Panel. Search 'button'. Click 'change what the power buttons do' in left pane. Click 'change settings that are currently unavailable' near top of next pane. Scroll down and UNcheck the box for fast startup. Save setting. Shut down Windows normally. Wait a minute or so. Then turn machine back on and IMMEDIATELY start tapping the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu.

Temporarily disconnect the boot drive. Then you should be able to gain access the the BIOS menu. Then press F9 to set BIOS defaults. Then F10 to save settings and exit. Then press and hold power button to turn system off. Re-connect the boot drive. Try it again.
