    Thx for responding back @Apocalypse,

As you said spilled water on charger, did water droplets went inside the charging port in your laptop? I hope it shouldn't have happened.

As a work around to fix this charging issue, I recommend you to try Uninstalling the Microsoft ACPI Battery driver.

    1. Press the Windows key + R key.
    2. In the Run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and hit OK.
    3. In Device Manager, click > or + sign next to Batteries.
    4. Right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery and click Uninstall.
    5. Click OK to confirm uninstalling the driver.
    6. Once that driver is removed, restart the computer to get driver back auto installed.

Then try charging the unit and I hope this works!!

    Regards,

No the water droplets did not go inside the charging port. And i tried the method you mentioned yesterday.I thought the problem was fixed but it happened again. It actually tends to happen when I run an application that requires more power, like a game.

Below is the light indication specification details for Acer A715-75G

As per the above description and yours, the amber (orange) color flashing indicates that System - Hard Drive is processing.
