Is it normal for the laptop to turn off suddenly?

Hello, so this has actually happened to me 3 times, once yesterday and twice today. I was just browsing chrome when my laptop turned off suddenly, when I turned it back on it was 84 degrees CELSIUS FOR THE CPU. The first two times was when I was playing games. The first time it was Minecraft and the second was Undead Horde, both which are small games and don't use up much storage or ram. However I used predator sense to track the temperature when I launched the Minecraft and it rose to 85 C. Why is that, I played Minecraft before on my other laptop which had less storage and ram; It didn't overheat then. Please help me. I already tried unplugging the charger turning it off and holding down the power key for 10 seconds before turning it back on. It didn't help, and my laptop also has no damages.

This could be due to the laptop having problems with the Minecraft and the Undead Horde games. Make sure that all your windows updates, NVidia graphics Control Panel is set to use the NVidia gpu at high settings and you also have the Intel latest graphics drivers installed and all Intel drivers are up to date first, also make sure that you have GeForce Experience installed and Minecraft is included and setup within this software, as this software has the ultimate gpu settings for Minecraft, Minecraft PTGI and Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition but they don't have any settings for "Undead Horde" so make sure that this game is setup to what is appropriate for your laptop, as there are many settings which will cause a crash like you are having with a laptop if the game has inappropriate settings.

Minecraft should automatically be incorporated into GeForce Experience software when you install this software and the NVidia ultimate gpu settings should be applied automatically for Minecraft when you play Minecraft, with Undead Horde, this game is not included in GeForce Experience so you will have to get best settings on the web (search best Undead Horde settings) or on a gaming forum about the Undead Horde game best settings, I don't really know as I've never played this game, I only play racing games and like Battlefield V or sniper games 😀

I turned on my laptop today and just opened chrome, when all of a sudden it turned off. I didn’t have any games on, the CPU and System was at 49 Celsius and the GPU was idle. What should I do? This is starting to become annoying.

Also, there are huge discrepancies with the battery percentage. So today I turned off the laptop at 10 it was at 88% and when I turned it back on it was at 75%. It happened again a few minutes ago. I had to restart my laptop; before the restart, it was at 64%, and after it was at 59%. This shouldn't happen, right?

Anyway, I have had the same problem after RAM upgrade, when i pressed on the bottom of the laptop my laptop turned off and my solution was to fix plate over RAM, because I have put it by incorrect way

I have experience with laptops turning off like you descibe caused by bad batteries. Create a Battery Report in Windows 10, Type or paste the following line in the Command Prompt:

powercfg /batteryreport /output %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\battery_report.html

Open the file "battery_report.html" (double click) on your Desktop and check the Full Charge Capacity over the last 3 days, if you see that dropping drastically you need a new battery, also compare it with the initial or Designed Capacity.
