Hello, I've recently changed out the hard drive to my older Acer Aspire 5532 and I updated all the drivers but now it moves very very slow. When I first changed the hard drive it was normal but now it's really slow. What should this beginner do with the computer to make it faster? Also, how do I upgrade the original Windows 7 to Windows 10? Thanks so much!

The reason why your Aspire 5532 is so slow is because the cpu and ram specs are way too old and slow for todays Win-10 or Win-8.1, you can improve this old laptops performance a bit if you increase the ram to 4GB 2x 2GB DDR2-667 at 200pins of SODIMMs and upgrade its OEM cpu to the highest spec Athlon 64 TF cpu the Athlon 64 TF-38 and the storage drives should be a 2.5” SSDs (not a 2.5” mechanical HDD) as the combination of all these upgrades will make your old Aspire 5532 workable with Win-10, otherwise and if you don’t do the combination of all these upgrades, this laptop will always work very slowly.

Where would you suggest I get those upgrades from? Thank you so much for your help!
