    My Acer nitro 5 is seriously not going back to normal none of the options u guys gave worked  please respond

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    ​2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit. 
    3. You will be in setup utility page. 
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself. 

    Check this T/S and post the result. ​

    Hi I have a Nitro 5 AN515-55 and none of these work no keyboard shortcuts respond it's just black I tried restarting it still the same and this happened after an update the screen is just black with the cursor

    Hi,
    I have a Nitro 5 AN517-51 with the same problem! This is really annoying because I bought this Laptop a few months ago. 
    I have tried all of the above but the black screen still persists. 

    Is there anything else I can try?

    i have the same problem...but when i dont use the charger...the probleme disappear..plz let me now if its the same on you

    Kindly try to do BIOS defaults by following the below instructions.

    1)Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2)Press the power button to power on the system. Immediately keep on tapping F2 to enter the BIOS.
    3)Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    4)Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.

    If this doesn't work, let's try a factory reset which will bring your unit to default settings.

    Hi, I’m suffering from the same problem. Using Nitro AN515-43 Windows 11 and upgraded AMD Graphic Drivers since I was encountering lag. 
    Eversince the update the laptop’s screen has no display at all but other functions are working perfectly fine. I get a startup chime sound when windows is started up, getting a charging plug in sound whenever I connect/disconnect the charger, but absolutely no action on the screen. Tried plugging in on 2 different external screens using HDMI but no display there either. Can’t boot in safe mode or recovery mode to uninstall or restore to the previous versions since getting no display at all anywhere. Please help😭

    Thanks for this, it helped. But I wonder what causes it to happen? Nothing happened to my laptop in particular to it to happen.

    Purchased a brand new Nitro 5 today, windows updates reload and system appears ok, start downloading a game and leave the room to make a coffee !

    I come back say 20 mins later and the screen is black it wont wake up, keyboard is red but system dead as a stick !

    Shocking system setup its going back tomorrow worse purchase ever fair play.

    avail the warranty or replacement because it is a factory defect, unless it was not sealed already or tampered when you bought it.

    a big possibility of hardware defects like battery, memory and ssd aside from software and driver issues.

    when buying laptops, do not buy the displayed ones, instead, buy the completely sealed ones so that every penny is worth it.

    even if sealed, try to trace if it is tampered. insist on buying the sealed ones and buy the new and latest model of Acer even if costly. Do not think of the price, think of the benefit, satisfaction and joy it can give to you.

    I heard some feedbacks, maybe hearsay that some stores are doing magics/miracles, replacing the new original ones with defected ones then if you demand warranty and replacement, they simply install back the original ones they secretly got from your brand new laptop and ask for a hefty amount as payment for the job. So be careful and be vigilant and always demand your consumer/buyer rights.

    Consider this, if the price of the brand new laptop suddenly drops compared to other stores, then you will think immediately that there is a hocus pocus going on. Moreover, do not buy from online stores because you don't know if the ones delivered were already tampered and has defects, and problems/damaged may happen as the package is in transit. Buy directly from the physical and trusted laptop stores. Visit other towns and cities to look for the model that you want, else just wait. Patience is a virtue.

    For anyone having this issue in the future,

    1) Power down PC by holding power button

    2) Remove bottom panel

    3) Remove RAM module(s)

    4) Disconnect and reconnect battery

    5) Reinstall RAM and replace bottom panel

    6) Boot to BIOS using F2 and make sure time and date are correct

    7) Disable Fast Boot and Safe Mode

    8) Clear TPM

    9) Press F10 to save and restart

    I made an account just to write here. The only way to solve it was to fix the mhf4 white cable. At least then it would turn on and allow me to get into the repair tool or bios. However, clearly this didn't fix the pc itself running like it was 10 years old, so I'm certain it's some issue with ram or the bios, or a combination of the two or drivers and I'm leaning towards drivers as this happened after a win11 update. If you can I would suggest anyone reading to attempt to reinstall windows 10, as win11 clearly has issues right now and the one thing we all have in common is we updated, or win11 updated and suddenly it went downhill
