Yes, your system has an M.2 WLAN card installed (likely the Intel) and you can drop most WiFi 6 M.2 cards in. Try the Intel AX200 or AX210 cards, not the AX201 or AX211 as they use a proprietary interface in the M.2 form factor. Your current antennas should work fine.

    Hi

    The model is C27-962

  • I think it's possible. But you may need to change the antennas as well.

    Great,

Is there a layout of the laptop (case open) or photo ?

I don't know where the Wi-Fi adapter is and how it looks like.

You can even purchase a wifi 6 external usb wifi adapter from a near by store. Check with your internet company whether they provide wifi 6 router.

I don't run Windows on my desktop but Ubuntu 22.10.

My internet provider installed a router with Wi-Fi 6

I will check out what my card is supporting actually.

Does Ubuntu recognize the external Wi-Fi 6 adapter ?

  • @curano

You can also use a external usb wifi 6 adapter if the inbuilt card is not supporting it.
