How do I turn on my Aspire 5A515-56G-53TK Its charged but can't turned on.
Tinkerer
I charged my laptop. Looked at the indicator, it showed that the system is on, and the battery itself is full. Yet it still cant be turned on.

Hi,
Could you please check whether you press the power button once, also please post the picture showing the indicator lights when they are on, post the full model name of the laptop, like A5xx-xx.

Hi,
If you are within the warranty period, contact Acer Support in your region and get it fixed under warranty, otherwise, please take it to a local laptop repair shop and get it fixed.

I had this issue with my a515-54AG and it turned out that a wrong battery was installed. If your laptop is no longer under warranty or you want to check/fix this yourself, disconnect the charger/adapter open the back of your laptop, carefully disconnect the battery cable plug remove the battery, close the laptop and connect the charger/adapter to see if your laptop will start without a battery. If it starts get an original battery with the ACER part number sticker for a515-56G-53TK.
If it still won't turn on you have a motherboard/power supply issue that needs to be checked by Acer Services.

thank you so much. but regarding on repairing of the laptop right, if its still under warranty, do i need to pay or no?

It depends where you live; In Asia Acer will not charge you for routine services while still in the warranty period and you already opened the back of your laptop, the service charge is minimal anyhow ($25) unless the motherboard is bad and that can be a major expense and delay: IMO it is highly unusual to have such a major defect like a bad motherboard with a brand new Acer laptop unless you exposed the laptop to moisture, bought it second hand or from unknown website; an issue with a bad battery, loose connector or wrong power adapter/charger is far more likely.
Replacing/checking your battery/loose connectors is a simple routine task, likewise adding memory or cleaning the fan and you will always have to open the laptop to do any of that, but If you don't plan to do any checking yourself (DIY) with your laptop and worry about getting charged by Acer just turn the laptop in to Acer Services like @brummyfan2 advised.😊
