Can I charge my Aspire A515-57 through thunderbolt 4 port
I have an Aspire A515-57 2022 model

it has a thunderbolt 4 port and i was wondering if this laptop supports charging through it.

Yes, Thunderbolt 4 ports will accept any cable with a USB-C connector.
Hope it will help you in some way.

same, I have NX.K8QED.002 and it's not charging with thunderbolt port.

To charge the laptop through the Thunderbolt 4 port, you also need a Power Delivery (PD) charger.
@TheCoteen, A regular USB-C charger that you use to charge a phone isn't going to work unless it is a PD charger. I don't know if there's a minimum wattage that's necessary. My PD charger supports up to 65W, and it works. One other thing I noticed is that you might have to plug it in to the laptop while the laptop is turned on already. Then you can hibernate it and it will continue charging.0 -
I bought a 65w PD charger and a thick USB-C to USB-C cable that can handle 3A fast charging and it doesn't work on my Aspire 5 A515-57. Thanks Acer for not making this clear in your specs and causing me to waste money. Perhaps some day I will own something that can make use of this.
