In my brief research online, I heard SSD may solve the problem too. If I buy 8 GB SSD RAM, will this no longer be a problem? I also need to mention that my laptop takes sometimes 10-15 minutes for startup

    Hi,

With the help of SSD, Your computer will undoubtedly run extremely quickly both when it first starts up and when it is in use. On the other hand, if you want to work more effectively, you should get RAM.

    Thanks,

    Mail Ch.

  • This disk problem at 100% can also occur on ssds. I advise first checking the hard drive health with crystaldiskinfo. About the ssd, you need to inform the computer model. Example: AN515-55-5890.

Which one do you think will get that 100% down to a manageable level?

  • Your model supports optane memory. So it will also support an nvme ssd.

Without more information, it's difficult to determine what is causing the issue you're experiencing with your Disk 0. However, here are a few possible reasons and solutions:

    1. Insufficient storage space: If you're running out of disk space, you may experience slow performance or errors. You can free up space by deleting unnecessary files, uninstalling programs you no longer use, or moving files to an external hard drive.
    2. Fragmentation: Over time, your files can become fragmented, meaning they are stored in different parts of your hard drive, which can cause your computer to slow down. You can run the Disk Defragmenter tool that comes with Windows to reorganize your files and improve performance.
    3. Malware or viruses: Malware or viruses can cause your computer to slow down or behave erratically. You can run a virus scan using an antivirus program to detect and remove any malicious software.
    4. Low RAM: If you're running multiple programs or working with large files, you may benefit from having more RAM. However, it's important to note that adding more RAM won't necessarily fix all performance issues.

It's also worth noting that Disk 0 refers to the first hard drive in your computer, and it's not directly related to RAM. If you're experiencing performance issues, it's best to identify the underlying cause before deciding on a solution.
